About Us
The American Fluoridation Institute is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization, instituted in 2020.
The primary mission of the American Fluoridation Institute is to educate community leaders and the public about the safety, health and economic benefits of community water fluoridation (CWF) – the most cost-effective prevention measure for better dental health.
American Fluoridation Institute Leadership
In addition to leading and directing the affairs of the organization, the AFI Board of Directors is charged with providing informational support at the individual, community, and population-levels. This is done through public education to promote the effectiveness and safety of fluoridation using traditional media outlets and social media platforms, supported by evidence-based science.
